Abstract : | A b s t r a c t. Analysis of images of a sample before and after mercury porosimetry measurement is a convenient and quantitative method of testing whether the sample is compressed during mercury intrusion. Application of the method to oven-dried soil samples revealed stability of their structure under mercury pressure up to 200 MPa. |
