The FACCE JPI (Agriculture Food Security and Climate Change) - Knowledge Hub is the instrument, in frame of which the project MACSUR (Modelling European Agriculture with Climate Change for Food Security) is realized. The MACSUR project is focused on modelling of chosen aspects of European agriculture under different climate change scenarios for food security. The work is organized in three themes on crop, livestock and trade modelling. The partnership consists of 73 partners from 17 countries all over Europe. The overarching challenge of the project is to develop a pan-European platform in the development and interpretation of models to perform risk assessments of the impacts of climate change on European agriculture.
