We invite to another specialized lecture for PhD students and research workers on renewable energy, as part of the Restructuring Programme funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Classes will take Prof. Dr. Yakov Kuzyakov from the Department of Soil Science of Temperate Ecosystems, Department of Agricultural Soil Science, University of Göttingen, Germany.
Subjects of the lectures:
- Effects of elevated CO2 on soil processes
- Rhizosphere links the above- and belowground processes
- Priming Effects: Interactions between living and dead organic matter
- Carbon turnover in the rhizosphere and why plants release carbon in soil
- Limitations & challenges for understanding of δ13C variation in soil
- Publish or perish: Scientific writing and publishing: Publish in international journals
Lectures will be held on 4, 5 and 6 March 2014, 9.00 – 11.30 in the conference room of the Institute.
